Severe thunderstorm warning until 5:45 pm.large hail and strong winds possible
Severe thunderstorm watch until 8 pm. 65 mph winds and 1inch hail possible. Stay alert for changing conditions this afternoon and early evening. Especially if your heading to Barre Heritage Festival or have baseball/softball games tonight
SEVERE thunderstorm warning until 5 pm. Up to 60 mph and quarter size hail expected. The storm is currently near Bristol moving east @ 25
Severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 8 pm Thursday large hail and damaging winds are possible.
The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a
* Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of
Central and northeast New York
Northeast Pennsylvania
Central and northern Vermont
* Effective this Tuesday afternoon and evening from 1245 PM until
700 PM EDT.
* Primary threats include...
Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible
Isolated large hail events to 1 inch in diameter possible
A tornado or two possible
SUMMARY...Scattered severe thunderstorms are expected to form and
move eastward, along and immediately east of a cold front. The
storm environment will favor a mix of small clusters and some
supercells capable of producing damaging outflow gusts and isolated
large hail near 1 inch in diameter. An isolated tornado or two
cannot be ruled out.
The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 55
statute miles east and west of a line from 35 miles north northwest
of Burlington VT to 40 miles south southeast of Binghamton NY. For a

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
REMEMBER...A Severe Thunderstorm Watch means conditions are
favorable for severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
Persons in these areas should be on the lookout for threatening
weather conditions and listen for later statements and possible
warnings. Severe thunderstorms can and occasionally do produce
tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorm watch until 10 pm Sunday. Storms could have heavy rain large hail and strong winds.
Think about your Saturday evening plans, how will you be notified of a warning if one is issued? Where will you take shelter if needed? If you have a babysitter tonight, will they know what to do?

Winter storm warning ⚠️ 7 am thurs to 1 pm Friday. 8-12” snow can be expected. Snow through the day thurs becomes heavier in the evening through Fri morning.
Winter storm warning 1 am Monday to 1 am Tues. 6.13” snow expected. Snow could be heavy at times with rates 1”+ an hour. Could be a wintry mix at times. Gusty winds are also expected. Be safe and slow down if you venture out on Monday. Berlin Emerg Mgmt will be monitoring this storm and update as needed.
Winter storm warning. 1 pm Saturday through 7 am Sunday. 5-8” snow expected. Snow may be heavy at times making travel difficult.
Winter storm watch for Saturday afternoon through late night. 6-8” snow expected.
Planned Road Closure. VT Route 12 will be closed Wednesday November 10 between 8:30 amd and 3:00 pm in Riverton between Crosstown Rd and Chandler Rd for bridge work.

FOLLOWING AREAS, IN CENTRAL VERMONT, EASTERN ADDISON, ORANGE,
WASHINGTON AND WESTERN ADDISON. IN SOUTHERN VERMONT, EASTERN
RUTLAND, WESTERN RUTLAND AND WINDSOR.
* FROM 11 PM EDT THIS EVENING THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING.
* REMNANTS OF TROPICAL STORM FRED WILL PRODUCE WIDESPREAD RAINFALL
IN THE RANGE OF 1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALIZED HIGHER AMOUNTS.

Severe thunderstorm warning has been issued until 4:45 pm. Storms are currently in Addison County are expected to move in with 60 mph winds and quarter inch hail.
Slight risk for severe thunderstorm today. Strong winds are the biggest threat. Storms expected this afternoon and evening. As you plan you day consider how you will receive any warnings and where you would take shelter if storms hit.
Severe thunderstorm warning has now been issued for all of Berlin until 2:45. Storms entering Washington County moving quickly to the east. Strong winds are possible along with heavy rains. Do not drive into water covered roads.
Severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Berlin along and west of Rt 12. Wind gusts to 60 mph possible
In addition to the flood watch a severe thunderstorm watch has been issued until 4 pm. Strong winds are possible with fast moving storms.
Flood watch in effect Friday morning through Saturday evening. Heavy rains and snow melt will cause rises on rivers and streams. Berlin emergency management will be monitoring the situation and update as needed
Winter storm warning has been issued from7 pm Monday evening through 7 pm Tuesday. Snow amounts of 8-12” now expected. Tuesday morning commute could be especially impacted.
Winter storm watch Monday evening through Tuesday evening. 6-9” snow expected. Updates will be posted as needed.
Flood watch Christmas Eve through Saturday morning for central VT. Warm temps and heavy rains will cause rises on local rivers. Berlin Emergency Management team will monitor the situation and update as needed.
