** WATER MAIN BREAK LAUREL STREET UPDATE**
Crews have finished repairs and are slowly returning service to our dozen-ish customers on Laurel Street who have been without water this afternoon. As with every system disruption, cloudy/murky water is to be expected. Give it some recovery time and then turn the COLD water taps on- outside is best- and flush until clear. Residents in the area will also see that cloudiness/murkiness until the system settles over the next day or two. We thank the residents of Oakdale for their patience today.

LANCASTER STREET MAIN REPAIRS COMPLETE
The WBWD crew is slowly turning the water back on to Lancaster Street. Area residents may find reduced volume while the system re-pressurizes, and there may be intermittent cloudy/murky looking water for several hours. Turn on your cold water faucets (outside is best) until your water runs clear again. The West Boylston Water District thanks their team and appreciates your patience.

***UPDATE ON WATER MAIN BREAK*** The WBWD crew has finished the repair to the 8" main. For the residents of lower Woodland Street area who were without water, the District thanks you for your patience. For the remainder of town, there MAY be some cloudiness due to sediment being kicked up or air in the lines. IF your water looks discolored, there is no reason to panic. Run your cold water faucets UNTIL THE WATER RUNS CLEAR. Your water is perfectly safe to drink, bathe, do laundry, etc. IF you have persistent cloudiness, give us a call at the Water District at 508-835-3025 so we can assist you.

Update on water main break: West Boylston Water District crews have isolated the break on lower Woodland at Pierce Street. The WBWD crew is on site and hoping to have everything wrapped up in a few hours. Once they turn the water back on, get those cold water taps running to flush the lines. Thanks for your patience....
