’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the halls,
Not a package was stirring… no boxes, no calls.
The shelves stood quite bare, the bins empty too,
Thanks to Community Santa Project and all the magic you do.
Gifts had been carried to families in need,
With love in each bundle, with hope in each need.
To seniors who smiled with tears in their eyes,
To veterans reminded they’re never left behind.
To special-needs classrooms where joy filled the air,
And kiddos who learned that someone still cares.
The wrapping paper gone, the ribbons all spent,
Every last present exactly where it was meant.
No glittery piles, no tags on the tree,
Just echoes of laughter and elf tracks you could almost see.
The halls may be quiet, the work nearly done,
But the love that was shared? Oh, it’s only begun.
For Christmas lives on through compassion and heart,
And Community Santa Project plays a beautiful part.
So as the lights dim low and the North Pole rests tight,
Merry Christmas to all — you made real magic this night.
