Homelessness in Utah is rising.

In 2025, 4,584 Utahns were experiencing homelessness on a single night, an 18% increase from the year before. Chronic homelessness has reached a record high.

This challenge is growing, and it needs recurring solutions.

At The Other Side Village, individuals who have experienced chronic homelessness are finding a permanent home and a strong, supportive community.

With the leadership of our builder captains and the support of trade partners, HomeAid Utah completed 11 units in phase one, and we're looking forward to more in phase two!

With 31 years in the homebuilding industry and now serving as Division President at Perry Homes, Steve knows homes create more than shelter. They create community and belonging.

A couple of weeks ago, this awesome team from D.R. Horton joined us at the FINCH shelter to help transform this future playground space!

What was once an empty space is becoming a place for families to play and connect. Their time and effort helped to create something that brings stability and a sense of normalcy to families working through incredibly hard seasons.

We’re grateful for partners like D.R. Horton who continue to show up and invest in our community in meaningful ways.

What a beautiful day celebrating the ribbon cutting of Symphony Homes’ tiny home duplex at The Other Side Village!

These units will soon provide permanent housing for two individuals leaving chronic homelessness and stepping into stability, dignity, and community.

Huge thanks to Symphony Homes and their incredible trade partners who helped bring this project to life.
