September is Healthy Aging Month, a reminder that staying healthy includes preventive care, sexual health, mental wellness and knowing your HIV status.

HIV prevention, testing and treatment belong in conversations about healthy aging. Older adults deserve accurate information, respectful care and providers who do not make assumptions about age, relationships or sexual health.

At HIVES, we believe health has no age limit.

Our work is guided by CTRL • HALT • DEL:

CTRL :: Control Risks: Take charge of your health through prevention, testing, education and wellness screenings.
HALT :: Halt the Spread: Know your status, access treatment, connect to care and protect yourself and others.
DEL :: Delete Stigma: Everyone deserves compassionate healthcare without fear, shame or judgment.

Prevention works. Testing matters. Treatment saves lives.

Building Bridges to Better Health Starts with Strong Community Partnerships. YES!

At HIV Elimination Services (HIVES), we know that healthier communities are built when organizations come together with a shared purpose. That's why we're proud to support and help promote the 6th Annual CBA Community Health Symposium, hosted by Community Building Advocates (CBA) in partnership with community leaders dedicated to improving health outcomes across Palm Beach County.

This year's theme, "When Survival Comes Before Care - It's Time for Action," reflects the importance of meeting people where they are and connecting them to the services they need. It's a mission we share every day through the CTRL • HALT • DEL Care Corridor, working alongside trusted partners like the Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County to expand access to education, prevention, testing, care and wellness resources.

We're especially proud to recognize Denise Brown & Community Building Advocates (CBA) for their continued leadership in bringing together healthcare providers, community organizations and residents to strengthen our community.

Faith has the power to save lives. And that means showing up in the fight to end HIV.

Sunday, August 30, is National Faith HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, a time to recognize the important role faith communities can play in HIV education, prevention, care and, especially, ending stigma.

Churches, mosques, synagogues, temples and other spiritual communities have something powerful in common: TRUST!

That trust can create spaces where people feel safe asking questions. Where conversations about HIV are met with facts instead of fear. Where testing and prevention are encouraged. Where people living with HIV are welcomed, affirmed and supported. And where stigma has no place.

This is also the heart behind HIVES' Palm Beach County's First Annual Interfaith Leadership Symposium on Ending HIV Stigma: Grace & Truth: Ask. Listen. Affirm.

We're bringing faith leaders, public health professionals, advocates and community voices together because ending HIV stigma cannot happen through healthcare alone. It takes communities willing to ask, listen, learn and lead with compassion.

Our work is guided by CTRL • HALT • DEL:

CTRL :: Control Risks
Take charge of your health through prevention, testing, education and wellness screenings.

HALT :: Halt the Spread
Know your status, access treatment, connect to care and protect yourself and others.

DEL :: Delete Stigma
Choose compassion over judgment. People living with HIV deserve dignity, respect and welcoming communities where they can thrive.

This National Faith HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, we invite our faith communities to open their doors and their conversations.

Faith can change hearts. Knowledge can change minds. Together, we can help end HIV stigma.

Grace & Truth: Ask. Listen. Affirm.
A Faith-Based Movement to End HIV Stigma.

KNOW YOUR STATUS. KNOW YOUR OPTIONS.

HIV testing and support are available through Palm Beach County's HIV Elimination Services.
