County delayed releasing texts (see below) as long as they could. Now they are out and Marino needs to resign or be removed.

It's not uncommon for many hours, days even, to go into an article. But the Tango texts take the cake. Although the public records request was limited to a 12-hour window, I underestimated it -- the following up, the hunting down, the types of violations it would confirm or suggest.

Here are the fiscal realities... the program cost about $3m a year. Ridership was so low they stopped qualifying for some of their grants. They even tried making it free to boost and that didn't work. They could have simply given uber and Lyft vouchers and still saved about half the money.

This is what Jupiter has become. Bringing in a partisan group as hired guns against Amendment 3. Their website clearly states they are against all three Amendments on upcoming ballot. Disgraceful

The League of Women Voters of Palm Beach County will host an Amendment 3 Forum on Wednesday, October 14, at 6:00 p.m. at the FAU Jupiter Campus, 5353 Parkside Drive.

The forum will provide residents with an opportunity to learn more about Amendment 3, what the proposed amendment would change and how it could affect Palm Beach County.

The amazing part is any suprise that when your only revenue is derived from tax payers, you tend to have a hard time, well... fighting tax payers.

Amendment 3 supporters outspent opponents 26-to-1 as Florida Realtors poured $18 million into the race -

The political committee supporting Amendment 3 — which would raise Florida's homestead tax exemption — received an $18 million cash infusion in September, campaign finance records show.

So to rationalize this.... PBC is adamantly against Amendment 3, wants to add $550,000,000 in bond debt, another $350,000,000 to school district and just approved a new PBSO MSTU costing residents thousands a year..... but we need tax payers to support non profits to tell us how to budget??? Can't make this stuff up.

Lost in this headline is where the nearly $250,000,000 went that PBC tax payers paid in an additional 1.000 millage rate hike annually for this exact purpose of teacher salaries? By freezing waves and still collecting this tax, that money is assumed reallocated. Illegally.

The School District of Palm Beach County could be facing a salary freeze for all staff this school year.

Next time you fall under the assumption all taxes are seen equal to a County desperate to shine every penny in their coffers, understand they just approved a deal that gives away over $1.6m a year in property taxes. That's the equivelent to over 1,800 homes. The irony being they will stick to their Anti-amendment 3 rhetoric and still approve deals like this that enrich developers while the commoners make up the difference.

A second hotel next to the Palm Beach County Convention Center is moving forward after county commissioners approved a $26 million deal with Related Ross.

We have been shouting this for nearly two years. What comes out the other end of this bankruptcy? Largely bond holders left empty handed with billions gone. Imagine Boca, Delray and WPB sitting on millions spent of tax payer money on stations that never showed a fiscal return or positive outcome.
