Thank you to everyone who joined us for the relaunch of the Professional Democrats Caucus at Locals Only in downtown West Palm Beach!

It was great to see professionals, community leaders, advocates, elected officials, and engaged residents come together to network, exchange ideas, and build new connections.

A special thank you to Rand Hoch for sharing his insights and helping us kick off this next chapter. We were encouraged by the energy in the room and the interest from those willing to help shape the future of the caucus.

Building strong communities starts with building strong relationships, and tonight was a great step forward.

💙 Great Meeting Tonight at Don Ramon!

We had a powerful evening starting with an incredible presentation by Salesia Smith-Gordon, Esq. on her experience with endangered Silverback Gorilla habituation and trekking in Uganda — a fascinating look at conservation, community impact, and global environmental efforts. 🦍🌍

We also heard a legislative update from Senator Mack Bernard, covering redistricting, budget discussions, and what’s ahead for Florida.

From local races to voter engagement and environmental issues, tonight’s conversation was a reminder of how connected everything is, and why staying informed matters.

We had a fantastic and informative meeting at Don Ramon on South Dixie, featuring Palm Beach County Property Appraiser Dorothy Jacks. She broke down how property values are determined, the future of property taxes in Florida, and what Tallahassee’s debates could mean for local services, schools, and homeowners.

From tax exemptions and portability to housing trends and local budgets, it was an eye-opening conversation about how property taxes impact our community.

It’s always important to see firsthand how agriculture drives our local economy and supports so many working families.
