Please be aware that approximately 30 head of cattle are loose between 20 A link and Highway 9 on Highway 51.

If you see any cattle on or near the roadway please use caution, and contact the Cuming County Sheriff’s Office at 402-372-6019.

Attention the bridge on 6th road going over the elkhorn river will be closed on august 4th,5th,6th and possibly the 7th. Please pay attention to ROAD CLOSED SIGNS. the bridge will be closed from 7:30 AM until 6:30 PM.

ATTENTION!!

The Cuming County Sheriff's Office will be issuing ordinance violation warnings / citations for junk / abandoned vehicles in Beemer and Bancroft. If you have a junk motor vehicle and live in one of these cities, please reference your city ordinance. Beemer’s ordinance is 3-404, and Bancroft is Chapter 3-401. Deputies will be going around contacting owners of these vehicles and given time to fix them. If not fixed, the registered owner can receive a fine daily.
