This is Su -- short for Komatsu, the excavator in which an Ohio construction crew found this abandoned kitten. The crew has adopted her, but wants her to be more careful going forward. Construction sites are dangerous. She's taken to her safety equipment and is being shown the ropes so she can be a proper mascot. Here's the full story, including more pictures and a video of the rescue mission.

OKI Vulnerable Road User Crash Analysis 2015–2024 (Ohio-Kentucky-Indiana Regional Council of Governments)

Analyzes 10 years of pedestrian and bicyclist crash data across the Greater Cincinnati region. Finds that although vulnerable road user crashes accounted for fewer than two percent of all crashes each year, they made up about 12 percent of fatal or serious injury crashes, with speed, lighting, and arterial roadway design strongly associated with more severe outcomes.

OKI is marking a milestone that has reshaped daily life for more than 2.1 million residents across Greater Cincinnati: $1.27 billion invested in regional infrastructure since 2002.
