Get Involved in Advocacy!
More people are getting involved in political advocacy for the first time—attending town halls, calling their members of Congress, and using social media to organize and speak up.
💙 People with disabilities need to be part of these conversations, too!
The Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN) has updated its resource, “They Work For Us: A Self-Advocate’s Guide to Getting Through to Your Elected Officials.”
This guide can help self-advocates learn how to connect with elected officials, share their experiences, and make their voices heard on issues that matter.
🗣️ Advocacy starts with your voice. Get involved and help create change!
