Volunteer Spotlight: Judge Bill Lewis is an amazing man with a wonderful family. We are fortunate to have them. He and his wife make a dynamic pair assisting us on the 4-H Adult Advisory Committee. They are able to offer guidance and ideas that keep Elmore County 4-H strong and dynamic. They are supportive and caring to the youth programming that takes place at the local level. We are proud to partner and proud to call you all friends as well. Thank you

Maxwell Law Firm is proud to announce the addition of one of Birmingham's Top Attorneys.
Attorney Jerome Dees received his bachelor's degree from the University of Florida where he graduated with Honors and his law degree from the University of Alabama with a distinction in Public Interest Service. While at Alabama, Jerome competed on the Trial Advocacy Team and was elected by his classmates as both President of the Black Law Students' Association and Associate Justice of the Honor Court.
After graduation, Jerome served as an Assistant District Attorney in both Montgomery and Jefferson counties where he tried numerous jury cases ranging from Theft of Property to Murder. He has handled some of the largest asset forfeiture cases in Alabama history and even drafted legislation on the topic. Jerome has been honored to be a part of Birmingham's Project Corporate Leadership and the Birmingham Bar Association's Future Leaders Forum. Most importantly, though, Jerome has dedicated his professional career to ensuring that the criminal justice system treats all those who enter it as fairly as possible.
In that same vein of fairness and equality, improving our community and our state is the driving force behind what Jerome does and who he aspires to be. Jerome looks forward to using his skills and experiences to assist you however he can and make Birmingham and Alabama better communities for us all!
