What's Cooking Wednesday!

Maria has outdone herself this week! Come by The Hub at 875 Washington St tomorrow between 10-12 for some delectable delights.

Weymouth Food Pantry "Feed the Wey" mobile pantry will also be on site for Weymouth residents to shop.

Traditional Brazilian Cuisine — black beans with sausage, rice, grilled chicken, and cornmeal farofa with bacon.
Tapioca soup and short ribs
Rice with spinach (with onion, salt, butter, parsley, and fresh cream); gratinated pork and a honey-mustard sauce with smoked peppers.

A heartfelt thank you to State Senator Patrick O’Connor for securing $50,000 in the FY27 State Budget to support Wellspring’s program development and community outreach efforts.

We are deeply grateful for Senator O’Connor’s continued support of our mission and for recognizing the importance of investing in resources that help individuals and families move toward greater independence and stability. Together, we are making a lasting impact in our community. 💙

For nearly four decades, Wellspring Multi-Service Center has made a lasting impact on the South Shore community by offering programs that promote food security, education, job readiness, and housing stability. This organization continues to uplift and empower so many through their locations in Hull and Weymouth.

Wellspring’s mission is to provide support, skills, and resources to individuals and families facing challenges to their well-being. Wellspring and their staff help the community by striving to achieve greater independence. I have secured $50,000 for Wellspring, Inc. for program development and community outreach support in the FY27 State Budget.

What's cooking Wednesday! Maria has cooked up some amazing meals...

Rigatoni with meat sauce, featuring smoked peppers, onions, tomatoes, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.

Diced Chicken: mixed bell peppers, onions, oyster sauce, soy sauce, ginger, and garlic.

Tomorrow, our food truck will be outside of The Hub serving up some delicious eats! Stop by from 10-12 and say hello to Maria. Weymouth residents can also shop at "Feed the Wey" mobile food pantry.
