Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) Facility Reservations. Did You Know? CUPF provides community organizations and public agencies with access to public schools and government facilities for community services, programs, and events. Types of venues that may be reserved through CUPF include:

✅ Schools (auditoriums, cafeterias, etc.)
✅ Athletic Fields
✅ Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza
✅ Regional Services Centers
✅ Wheaton Urban District

February 1: Opening day for dates of use during the upcoming MCPS Summer Break.

May 1: Opening day for dates of use during the upcoming MCPS School Year.

Friendly Reminder: Tomorrow, December 8, 2023, CUPF will no longer accept new reservation requests for use of School facilities for dates of use December 18, 2023, through January 3, 2024.

Community Use of Public Facilities Main Office located in Wheaton, Maryland along with the Silver Spring Civic Center will be closed Monday, December 25, 2023 & Monday, January 1, 2024.

CUPF would like to wish our wonderful community a Happy Thanksgiving!! Just a friendly reminder that our Wheaton office will be closed Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Nov. 24. The Silver Spring Civic Center will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. The Civic Building will reopen Friday, Nov. 24 for scheduled events.

The Montgomery County Government, and programs that impact County residents, will have schedule and program changes for Thanksgiving Weekend, Thursday-Friday, Nov. 23-24. Community Reminder: Wednesday, November 1, 2023, is opening day to request online reservations of outdoor facilities for dates of use December 1 through March 14, 2024. Facilities available for reservation include artificial turf fields, outdoor basketball courts, parking lots, and tennis courts.

Parking lots and Artificial turf fields must be reserved using the Priority High-Volume Bulk Request Form.
