πŸš’πŸš‘ Your Support Needed: Tarrant County Emergency Services District Sales Tax Election - November 7, 2023 πŸ—³οΈ

πŸ”₯ What's at Stake?
Today, Tarrant County will vote on a Sales Tax proposition. If approved, this will allow up to 2% in sales tax revenue to be captured by the District. This funding is crucial to address the rapid population growth in the District and enhance emergency services.

🚨 Why Does It Matter?
Tarrant County ESD No. 1 is responsible for fire protection and emergency medical services. As our community grows, so does the demand for these vital services. The funds from this Sales Tax will help maintain response times and ensure safety for all residents.

🏑 Local Impact
This election directly affects our community. If you're wondering why this matters to you, think about shorter response times during emergencies, lower insurance premiums, and a safer environment for families and businesses. Your vote can make this a reality!

πŸ’° Economic Benefits
Stronger emergency services make our area more attractive for businesses and families. With increased funding, we can enhance infrastructure, hire more personnel, and keep up with our growing community's needs.

🀝 Community Support
Let's unite as a community and vote 'yes' for a safer Tarrant County. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

πŸ—³οΈ Voting Details
Mark your calendar for November 7, 2023! Find your nearest polling station and make your voice heard. Every vote counts, and together, we can create a safer and more resilient Tarrant County.

Strong work B-Shift!!

On Wednesday January 25, 2023, W.S.F.D. B-Shift led by Captain D. Kostyak responded with White Settlement Police Department Officers to a Cardiac Arrest call at a residence in White Settlement.

Upon arrival of the Fire Department, the crew observed a W.S.P.D. officer doing chest compressions on a male patient. The patient was transferred to the ambulance where he was transported to a local hospital.

Interim Fire Chief R. Rogers nominated Captain Kostyak and his crew a Commendation which they were given today.
