WHITSETT FALL FESTIVAL IS SET TO RETURN ON OCTOBER 3RD!!!!!!
Celebrating Fall- and America's 250th Birthday!
Mark your Calendars! The Whitsett Fall Festival is returning on Saturday, October 3rd from 10 Am to 3 PM. Bring the Whole family for a full day of fun!

Good morning! This is a response to my email to Republic Services this morning regarding trash pickup.

"All routes are running one day behind due to being closed yesterday. Any areas not serviced last week there was too much risk in getting there. Your specific area could have been clear, but something on the way there or nearby could have prevented it. "

Hi everyone. A representative from Republic Services, our trash/recycling pickup, came to the office just now to let us know that they are doing the very best that they can to get trash picked up. The trucks are unable to drive on icy roads. Yesterday they had 9 trucks slide off the road. They are doing their best to keep their staff safe. He advised that you keep your bins at the street and they will get to them as soon as it is safe for them to get there, even if it's next Tuesday. Note we also are supposed to get another winter storm on Saturday with several inches of snow forecasted. So please just be patient, they are doing their best to get your trash picked up safely.

To discuss Rezoning Zoning Case RS-30 Residential to Highway Business at 7109 Burlington Road in Whitsett.

The Town of Whitsett Planning Board will hear a request to Rezone properties located at 7109 Burlington Road, (Guilford County Tax Parcel 105407), in Whitsett, NC approximately 487 feet west of the intersection with Burlington Road (Highway 70) and NC Highway 61 South and comprising approximately 3 acres.
