Wichita District 3 District 3 encompasses most of southeast Wichita. The Colvin Neighborhood Resource Center is the community center for District 3, located at 2820 S. Roosevelt.

The center provides a variety of free resources and services to the public including copying/faxing/printing, notary, computer access, an on-site DCF worker, hot spot rentals, and more. The City’s mission is to be an exceptionally well-run city consistently working toward:
- Keeping Wichita safe
- Growing our economy
- Building dependable infrastructure
- Providing conditions for living well

✈️ IT’S ALMOST HERE!

We’re just five days away from the 2026 Frontiers in Flight Airshow!

The U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and six other aerial acts are taking to the Wichita skies Oct. 24–25. The airshow is FREE and open to the public!

Gates open at 9 a.m., and aerial acts begin at 1 p.m.

Safely dispose of unused, unwanted, or expired medications during National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

Sedgwick County is hosting DEA medication drop-off locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.

Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office deputies will be available at:

Sedgwick County Zoo, 5555 W. Zoo Blvd.
Household Hazardous Waste Facility, 801 W. Stillwell
Oaklawn Activity Center, 4904 S. Clifton

Accepted items include tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid prescription medications, as well as sealed liquid medications.

Please do not bring syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs. No identification is required.

Come out to a festival fundraiser for the KS Fallen Firefighters Memorial Park!
