📜Looking for a way to prepare for the upcoming school year? This summer, we are offering three AP prep courses for high school students (grades 9–12), including AP United States History: Hidden Figures. Register by June 26!

Each class will be dedicated to uncovering individuals from two or three of the nine periods of APUSH and discussing skills necessary to excel in both the course and exam.

The class begins on Monday, June 29, 2026 and will meet on Zoom once a week at 5:00 p.m. ET/ 2:00 p.m. PT.

Beginning this summer and into the 2026-2027 school year, you will receive district, school, classroom and activities/athletics updates in one convenient place, making it easier for staff and families to stay connected, informed and engaged from any mobile device or computer.

➡️ At the secondary level (grades 6-12), students will have access to StudentSquare on their school device or through a mobile app for after-school activities and athletics communication. Students/Families may choose to download the free ParentSquare or StudentSquare app for iOS or Android, or log in at www.parentsquare.com.

After the Community Garage Sale with a Purpose: No Child Goes Hungry concluded on Saturday, remaining items were made available to various nonprofit and community organizations that requested donations to support their programs and initiatives.

➡️ All items still remaining will be available during a one-hour Fill-a-Bag Sale at 222 E. Madison in Derby from 7-8AM on Thursday, June 11. Bring a bag or box and fill it for $10. Any big items can be added on for an additional $5. This will be a cash-only sale; please bring exact change.

Following the Fill-a-Bag Sale, Derby High School's football team will help box up the clothing to donate to Cooper Elementary, providing families in the Oaklawn community at no cost during back-to-school conference times.
