Hey neighbors!
With all of the recent break ins and burglaries, I wanted to let you guys know that our new Vivint system picked up the guy at 3:30 in the morning, the camera sent a warning sound and he quickly left our property. My son, Jerred Douglas, works for vivint and will get you the absolute best pricing with the best customer service. Please feel free to call or text him with any questions you may have!

Hello Saddlebrook.

I was informed this morning of a road being put in on the field to the east of the subdivision. This is the first I have known about the road.

I have asked HOA services to give us a number regarding the vote to acquire legal services on the truck stop. I hope to know that this evening.

The executive board has a meeting planned with the builder of the proposed truck stop to listen to his plan tomorrow evening.

An application for a zoning change for the property has been submitted. The zoning hearing will take place on Oct. 19.

My plan is to have a town hall meeting with all residents soon after the meeting with the builder and getting the number of votes regarding legal services.

Please call if you have any questions. 734-0326

Good evening Saddlebrook. Some residents expressed interest in having an in person meeting tomorrow night regarding the possible truck stop to be built at 85th and 135. However, several residents are not able to make it in person and several Bear Hill residents also want to attend via Zoom.

The board has decided to keep this meeting a Zoom meeting. Below are the details to attend the meeting.

Many residents are concerned with this truck stop and the meeting will give the opportunity for everyone to have the most up to date and correct information.

Also, while I was out tonight several residents were unaware of the truck stop. Please get the information out to your neighbors.

If we want change, it will take all of us!

Call me if you have questions- 734-0326

Good afternoon everyone! I spoke with Park City Assistant City Administrator, Dana Walden. She stated Park City has not received any plans or any type of permits regarding any type of truck stop to be built at 85th and 135.

She was unable to answer many of my questions as she is not aware of the plans or ideas of what is wanting to be built there.

There is no planning commission meeting tonight as there was nothing for their agenda.

The next time public can speak on anything will be Tuesday August 25th at the City Council meeting. To speak you need to arrive before the meeting and sign up to speak on an agenda item. If you want to speak on something that is not on the agenda then sign up to speak during the public forum section that takes place at the beginning of the meeting.

If this project is not on the agenda for Tuesday, it would still be good to speak to the council and Mayor on the public forum section to share your thoughts either for or against the project.

Also, here is a link to sign up to receive email notifications of agendas of Park City meetings: https://www.parkcityks.gov/list.aspx

Next council meeting is Tuesday, August 25th at 7 p.m. at the City Building.

Please call me if you have any questions, 734-0326.

Thanks,

Charley
