Partnership for a Healthier America Founded alongside Former First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign in 2010, PHA is working towards a healthier America powered by good food for all.

In 2010, PHA was created in conjunction with but independent from First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! effort and is led by some of the nation's most respected health and childhood obesity advocates. Supporting our efforts is our honorary chair First Lady Michelle Obama and our board of directors, which also includes nationally recognized business leaders, advocates, health professionals, and thought leaders from a variety of backgrounds.

At this year’s Good Food for All Summit, we are incredibly proud to debut the Good Food Coalition, a first-of-its-kind initiative that connects everyday grocery purchases directly to hunger relief. To bring this vision to life, we are teaming up with our retail collaborators, and The GIANT Company, to introduce dietitian-validated, better-for-you options online and onto shelves this August.

A huge thank you to our founding brand collaborators, WK Kellogg Co and Bel Group, whose generous commitments are unlocking millions of servings of healthy food for families in need. Together, we are making the healthier choice the easy choice for families across America.

It's hard to believe that we launched Good Food at Home over five years ago. At the time, we had one goal in mind: to provide fruits and vegetables to families in need of good food. That goal still stands true today!

What started as a small pilot to help families during the pandemic has become a national program helping families across America build healthier habits 🥦🍎🥕

At Miner Elementary in D.C., many families rely on the school food pantry to help put meals on the table, but often the need goes beyond what the pantry can provide.

That’s why we partnered with Brighter Bites to deliver fresh produce boxes and nutrition education classes directly to families. This school year alone, we’ve supported 500 families together through our Good Food Cities work in D.C.
