Thursday evening graduates of the NexStep Program were celebrated during a special ceremony at the WSU Metroplex.

Through the partnership between NexStep Alliance and the Sedgwick County Department of Corrections, several former SCDOC clients walked across stage now equipped with career navigation tools, employment support and the knowledge needed for long-term success.

This collaboration is focused on creating second chances and strengthening our community through education, accountability and opportunity. All of the graduates have shown determination and a commitment to building a brighter future. We are proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to seeing all they accomplish next

This development is a major investment that expands Wichita’s role as a hub for aerospace innovation and advanced manufacturing.
