It’s my cake day. My favorite cake ever was my fifth bday in 1974 when my mom made me a Barbie cake. My Fakelicious version makes it feel like my fifth birthday every day. Let there be cake for all!

Celebration(s) season is heating up, like the temps! One of the most popular Fakelicious photo props is this set of fake champagne explosion and matching toasting bubblies — all the staged fun/none of the mess! These now live at a selfie room in St. Louis giving posers the appearance of having an exciting life, even if it’s not. Another great example of “faking it ‘til ya make it!”

From a repurposed handbag I found to a deliciously cute Fakelicious accessory to carry on my strut down the red carpet accepting arts & entertainment award. All it took was a can of spray foam and Fakelicious lemon slices to transform a used purse *p**f* into a lemon cream puff that holds my lipstick and gum.
