Pull up your knee socks and shove your feet into your favorite beat-up chucks

Jam your car into drive and insert a mix-tape for the cruise to Camp Fernweh in Willard Mo.

When your “sense of adventure” has you pulling into camp late, we’ll leave the light on for ya. It’s just part of our Ozarks hospitality!

We’ve been there, driving 7+ hours (or just getting started after work) and setting up a “cold camp” when you’re already exhausted —-it’s enough to give up the notion of camping all together. And we wouldn’t hear of THAT.

But seeing lanterns flickering in the forest from a tent and a bed waiting to welcome you?? THAT is the kind of late night arrival that keeps you camping.

Happy Fathers Day to all who celebrate! Not only is Jeremy the One Man Trail Crew, he’s the best dad. The woods are his giant fort and he loves teaching folks cool things. He’s quiet and thoughtful and is one of those “millennial dads” that is changing the narrative of Fatherhood.

His favorite joke: entering a roundabout, “look kids! Big Ben! Parliament!”

He’s super great.

All I’ve ever wanted is to go to Summer Camp with my friends—but like my 30 and 40 year old friends!   I wanna wake up naturally, smell bacon on the campfire (or just grab an apple). I want to get in an old car and go to the river, read books, yak about silly things around the campfire at night and have arts and crafts time.  Am I the only one??  Tag your girl gang Summer Camp bunkmate hopefuls below and lets get planning!  Step 1: book us on Hipcamp for $60/a night (discount on weekdays!)  Step 2: Start planning your perfect 1, 2, 3 night Summer Camp stay  Step 3: reach out and ask us about adding The Woodshed workshop space, if needed, and our local river suggestions!  Step 4: Pack up the oldest car between y’all, put on the perfect playlist and road-trip to Willard, MO and start living a good story.
