‼️PROTEST FAQ‼️
❓Why are we protesting the AI Data Center during Little League?
Dan Klingerman is the local millionaire who proposed the AI Data Center in Muncy. He also happens to be the At-Large Director on the Little League® International Board of Directors.
Ironically, Dan Klingerman gave this quote on his appointment:
“I have been blessed in more ways than I can count, and as my journey has unfolded, it has become increasingly important to give back to the community where I found my success… Giving back is how we transform personal achievement into something far more meaningful – turning success into significance and creating a lasting impact that reaches well beyond ourselves.”
If Little League wants to create a positive impact in our community, we have some suggestions…
❓Ok, but who is Dan Klingerman?
As stated above, Dan Klingerman is the man who proposed the data center in Muncy, PA. He is a local millionaire who is the CEO and COO of The Liberty Group - an umbrella company that manages Danko Holdings II LP, Fishlips LLP, and almost 50 other companies. This man has $500 million in assets. This AI Data Center would add to his wealth.
❓Alright, but why should we care?
If you’ve driven to the mall/The District, the Target plaza, Blaise Alexander Subaru, or any other business in that area, you would have very likely passed where the data center would go - should it go through.
Not only would this put pressure on our water resources, risk further pollution of the area, harm local wildlife, create noise pollution, and reduce the real estate value of the surrounding area… well actually, isn’t that enough?
❓So, what can we do?
Show up. Speak out.
Governor Shapiro’s executive order on AI Data Centers puts us, the people, in a better position than ever to stop this AI data center. We have a shot, so let’s take it.
