Manager of Ticket Operations Job Description
Position Title: Manager of Ticket Operations
Department: Ticketing Services Department
Supervisor: Sr. Director of Ticket Operations
Summary: This position is a managerial position responsible for the accurate, efficient and service-oriented operation of daily ticket and box office operations.
Essential Duties & Qualifications:
Manage Box Office Operations
Experience in ProVenue (TDC) preferred
-Prior Box Office experience mandatory
-Ability to work in current Ticketing Applications
-Implement and coordinate event weekend preparation
-Responsible for issuing and reconciling all event week box office windows
-Hire, train & manage event weekend Box Office Staff
-Assist in training seasonal staff
Responsible for day to day ticket office operations
- Daily balancing of daily ticket reports and settlements
- Strong accounting background
- Strong Computer Skills with ability to learn quickly and work within in Web based programs
- Detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and able to multi-task
Maintain all timelines, checklists and event related documents
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs (Excel, Word, Power Point, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Ability to maintain spreadsheets and files
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Outbound Calls Required
-Prior experience in Ticket Sales preferred
- Excellent Phone Etiquette and Customer Service Skills
-Assisting in leading Outbound Calling efforts with Seasonal Team
-Monitor Daily/Weekly Call Goals for Seasonal Staff
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of computerized ticketing systems; accounting and finance procedures including record keeping and reconciliation. Experience working in a computer network environment utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel programs. Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices. Able to work flexible schedules including some evenings, weekends as needed.
