YFC Williston Basin is one excellent example of the power of good mentors. During a local YFC meeting, leaders encouraged the team to engage in relational ministry activities. Rosemary, a long-time volunteer for the chapter, asked, “Could I start a quilting group with the kids?”

Youth for Christ donates to Williston Police Department

We are so proud of our Volunteers and kids! One of our volunteers started a quilt group during the pandemic with some of the students where she teaches them to quilt and they donate the quilts to different causes: The police department (to give to kids in need), Youth Correctional Facility in Mandan, and the Family Crisis Shelter!

The group meets at First Lutheran Church in Williston and is helped by ladies from their quilt group as well.

GIVING TUESDAY UPDATE: 1️⃣5️⃣ people already chosen to be part of the 2️⃣2️⃣. By the end of today our goal is to have 7️⃣ more new monthly donors giving $22 a month so that we can continue to reach out to the lost one that Jesus talks about it Luke 15.

Yesterday, we made a post about Michael and his baptism. UPDATE: Michael decided to sign up as a $22 monthly donor yesterday. Jodi (pictured) was talking about the campaign and showing him the mugs in the office, he said, "lets do this." She asked, "you want to be a donor". He replied, "Yes." So I sent him the link and became a donor for the first time!

It takes less than 2 minutes to make an eternal difference.

Youth For Christ has been able to continue caring for young people in the Basin, making sure the 1 (Luke 15) is not forgotten. Young people like Michael who was baptized last week! Michael has been coming to YFC for 5 years and this year he gave his life to Jesus. Join us in discipling Michael and others like him.

Our Statement of Faith 1.We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. 2.We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3.We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. 4.We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. 5.We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. 6.We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 7.We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in Christ.

My Story. Your Story. God’s Story.

Every day at local high schools, middle schools, juvenile institutions, coffee shops, and hangouts, WILLISTON BASIN YOUTH FOR CHRIST staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus.

YOUTH FOR CHRIST provides a safe and friendly place to learn leadership skills, to think about important issues and to develop quality relationships with peers and with caring adults.

Students have questions…lots of them. YFC brings a reasonable explanation to students’ questions from a biblical perspective. God has spoken, the Bible is reliable, and students need to hear from someone who cares for them.

YFC is about relationships. As we build relationships with students, we seek to discover their life-story, live out and share our story and look for ways to connect them to God’s story.
