Luna here this Sunday evening to remind you that you can handle whatever your work week throws at you. And she's happy to help! This past week Luna went to a volunteer's home to lend a helping paw as they worked from home. The volunteer reports that Luna was a perfect motivator and wonderful company. Are you looking for a sweet, huggable pup who will smother you with love on your work breaks?! Look no further! Luna is a 4-year-old pitty mix who came to LHS after her owner could no longer care for her. She is a 57-pound lap dog who has endless amounts of love to give. Luna does prefer a home where she is the only pet. Could that be with you?!

This is one of our trusted employees and dear friends, David! Otherwise known by Miss Ann as “Hippie Dave” 😆

David is going on his third year working with us. He is such an innovative, inspirational, and compassionate individual. He is up for any project or task at hand and helps to come up with the most effective ways to see things through. He does a little bit of everything on the farm. Carpentry and engineering, mowing and plant tending, nursery plant sales, elderberry field installations, the list truly goes on and on. AND he brings a whole lot of love into everything he does, for which we are so grateful!

When he isn’t farming, you most likely can find him hiking and traveling, playing and creating beautiful music, doing videography, learning, expanding, and spending quality time with all of the people he loves. A jack of all trades! ❤️

Like many other food manufacturers across the globe, Miceli Dairy Products has been adapting to the new challenges posed by the current heath crisis. In addition to new safety and bonus programs to help protect and reward our hardworking employees, we have looked for ways to help in our community. It is with this goal in mind that we are pleased to announce this week we have donated over 9300 pounds of shredded cheese to the Cleveland Food Bank, at an approximate value of over $20,000. The Cleveland Food Bank has been a tremendous asset to families in our hometown. We have worked with them in the past, and we will be looking to help them more than ever in the future, especially while this crisis is at its peak. Miceli’s will also continue to work with state and federal food purchasing programs in order to get essential, nutritious food to families in need across our great state and this nation. It is a trying time, but we will get through this together.
