Long story short… this birthday could have been a dud.
Pat’s out of town for work, I’m solo parenting, and old versions of me might’ve spiraled into disappointment.

As I’ve dove deep into masculine and feminine work and held myself through sensational retreats and coaching, I’ll admit, nothing is quite as sensational as the mirror of partnership in my marriage.

My wounding, my triggers, my shadow are often reflected front and center. And thanks to the toolbox I now have and the support, I’m able to work through them. Sometimes it’s messy and it’s often sensational.

I’ll admit, when I used to see all the posts with the fad “she doesn’t need him, but…he does xyz,” I could so relate.

You all get to see the shiny, outside version of me. But Pat has seen me at my darkest. He’s held me through the most challenging moments, including three natural births outside of a hospital.

The reason I am who I am today, and able to support so many women, is because he is the solid foundation behind the scenes: the safety net, the financial guru, the man who can fix anything, including, so far, four homes, the logic behind my wandering.

I can hold because I am held so well.

And I want to give credit where credit is deserved. Although I may never be able to articulate all that he has done for me, know this: through my darkest hours, he has loved me through it all.

Happy 12th anniversary, love. 🤍

I’m sitting in so much gratitude tonight.

What began as a whisper, a vision to create a space where girls feel truly seen, heard, and empowered, has now become a reality. Even as a small experiment it sparked so much possibility. My desire is that it is a wave of momentum, carried by every woman who said yes. Every volunteer who showed up with an open heart. Every girl who dared to believe in herself a little more.

To those who gave their time, their talent, their energy: thank you. Your presence is the heartbeat of this possibility.

To my fellow women leaders, creatives, and visionaries: this is what happens when we collaborate with intention. When we use our platforms not just to rise, but to lift.

And to the next generation: this was always for you. You are the dream. You are the reason. And the world is better with your light in it.
