Kralovic Center for Entrepreneurship, was named after our good friend Ray Kralovic, now deceased, an entrepreneur who co-founded STERIS Corporation, now is a multi-billion dollar business with over 5,000 employees worldwide. The “Center” was effectively started on May 6, 2015 with a steering committee meeting of both private and public sec

tor individuals of like-minded thoughts on the importance of promoting entrepreneurship in Lake County, Ohio. With the blessing of the Lake County Commissioners, The Lake County Port and Economic Development Authority, as well as the City of Mentor, our goal is to be an active and vital impetus for small business in and around our county, by being a small business “accelerator” providing trained mentors and advisors, investment capital, and encouragement to those who want to start and grow their companies. We plan to acquire funding through private foundations and government entities throughout Northern Ohio once we receive our 501C3 IRS clearance. The funds will be used to pay for brochures, a website, office supplies, business cards, and a part time staffer to help us coordinate and set up meetings with the “centers” advisors. None of the raised money will go to any other individual. All of the Trustees are and will always be volunteers. Our goal is to help increase economic activity in and around the Lake County, Ohio, and create more jobs from the vast array of entrepreneurs who will seek our advice and mentoring.
