K9 JORGA working Disney and Universal. She is helping children understand working K9’s. Amazing.
I&I International K9 S.A.R Team K9 Jorga finds lost children and adults, tracks down criminals and evidence for Law Enforcement and she is a Cadaver dog.
Operating as usual
K9 JORGA working Disney and Universal. She is helping children understand working K9’s. Amazing.
K9 JORGA has been busy as many of you might have expected. She responds to many major disasters as all all of you know.
JORGA is on standby for another missing persons tracking case, in another state, that has a possibility of becoming a recovery mission. This is her specialty.
Since JORGA is cross trained to do live track and switch to human remains detection if needed, she is often used on these type cases. Credit is always given to the agency or agencies that call her in.
With a suspect in custody, hopefully a confession will make Jorga’s deployment unnecessary; however, if needed, she is ready to go and I am confident she will be an asset
All pray that JORGA is able to stay home and closure is made in the case without her, but if needed, with her help. Closure is always the goal for the family.
Hello Everyone,
I have not posted in quite a while. Jorga and I have been quite busy since the Hurricane.
She has been helping finding people, articles, searching buildings and bringing comfort like only she can.
Please forgive my lack of responses but the last year has been enormous for us for so many reasons.
We love you all
So sorry we have not written in so long. Jorga has been amazing as always. She has helped greatly during the storm and is preparing to work another forensic case.
She has been spreading joy as usual. While in Southport, she found some children to play with her.
K9 Jorga stays right by our grandson whenever he is with us. This is the two of them in the RV
Today Jorga and I were looking a property with a developer. While we were walking I notice Jorga looking in a wooded area just off the trail. It looked like half her body was in a hole. When I went to check her, she backed out and indicated. Upon closer inspection, it looked like the whole was a damaged or abandoned grave. We found what looked like an old headstone with initials on it.
This is Jorga showing an independent response and an aggression to odor. She is taught to always indicate on forensic or cadaver odor even if she is not told to search. While she also finds evidence, she knows she does not get paid for evidence until told to search for it. This keeps here from always indicating on items not important to us. But forensic or cadaver odor is always important.
She is amazing. I was so proud of her. This is another find for Jorga and she prevented a potential huge headache for the prospective buyer of the property.
Jorga has found many unmarked graves in the past. GO JORGA!!!
I&I K9 led a Scent Works seminar at Einstein K9's incredible facility on Carolina Beach Road last night. Jorga was so amazing. There was a wonderful turnout of people to watch Jorga do her thing. Most in participation do scent work for sport so it was much fun demonstrating the "working" side of scent work.
I was very impressed with what they do, how they do and how much fun they have with the sport. K9's in attendance ranged from a tiny, cute little Yorkshire Terrier to a retired 11 year old retired champion Collie show dog.
It was a night Jorga and I will not soon forget!
Jorga with some new friends. Jorga was training on evidence and the children did not bother here at all. When she is working, nothing seems to distract her
Jorga was asked to assist in an investigation this week. Not by our local departments of course, as we all know, they have no love for us.
Jorga was asked to assist in an investigation by another county's Sheriff's Office and that counties local Police Department. Jorga searched a home for any sign that a crime resulting in blood lose had or had not occured inside the residence and both confirmed and ruled out other areas as potential crime scenes. When searching, which she did on and off all day, Jorga was loving on, making friends and playing with all involved. We have never been more proud of Jorga's performance. The departments involved said Jorga and I&I International K9 SAR team "was a Godsend".
Please remember our organization and K9 Jorga are always available to assist in any way we can. We are a NO CHARGE 501c3 that works solely for donations and grants.
Jorga made some new friends yesterday. She spent time with a wonderful family that has two very respectful young men and an 8 week old, female, lab puppy. The young puppy had not faired well with other big dogs in her young life but instantly fell in love with Jorga. Watching the two of them together was something very special. People and puppies alike instantly love and trust Jorga. She is very special.
For being only 8 weeks old, this young lab is extremely well behaved and attentive. She is going to be very special when she grows up, not that she isn't already. Her new family do an amazing job of loving on, caring for and socializing her. There is much love in that home and all who encounter this family are sure to be blessed.
This is Skylar Wilson who now helps train Jorga planting odor for Jorga. Skylar put out two items and Jorga found them both in about 2-3 minutes. Search area was about 50 square yards. Jorga did such a great job. This was a double blind search meaning I did not know what was place or where the items were placed. She found a human bone and a kleenax with a single drop of blood on it.
K9 Jorga with her good friend Madison. These two are so cute together!!!
K9 Jorga doing some training on having things moving under her feet. Had her at the local Home Depot. She was amazing.
Thank you everyone for pushing Jorga's likes past 800! Thank thank you!!!!
Closing in on 800 likes!!!! Go Jorga
Some of Jorga's new friends whose parents gave us permission to post.
K9 Jorga has had a big day. Besides her full morning, she just searched a facility for suspicious evidence. Her job was to find anything left behind, anything that did not belong. She found everything left behind and was amazing. While she did not find anything dangerous, thank goodness, she did find all items that were left and not normal to the facility. She never ceases to amaze.
Never too old for Jorga love
Jorga with the Wilmington Fire Department at LifePoint Church.
One of Jorga's many new friends.
Come visit K9 Jorga at LifePoint Church at 3534 S.College Rd today until 1:00 PM. She will be teaching children and the congregation what she does and how she does it.
Here is Jorga finding hanging teeth and a vertibrate along with Gavin (see previous posts) helping me clean up.
Here is Jorga finding Gavin's (see previous post) Easter Egg and Kevin's wallet.
These pictures are of Gavin (mentioned below in previous post) putting down a track for Jorga to follow. Gavin put down his hat as scent article. His track was just short of 1000 yards and went through the college where there were many crosstracks. Kevin, Gavin's mother's boyfriend, supervised Gavin for safety during the exercise. Jorga did an amazing job following Gavin's track almost foot for foot and Gavin did a great job of not walking a simple track. There were three road crossings with traffic blowing the scent. Wind was about 15mph. Jorga, Gavin and Kevin had a big play session at the end of the track. (I am sorry for resposting about 15 times but Facebook keeps posting pics twice)
Jorga had a big day of training today and the young man in the pictures played a huge role. His name is Gavin and his mother is Jorga's very good friend Jessie Martin. Gavin is an amazing young man. Below are picuters of Gavin learning about odor, how K9's discover odor and how to place odor for training. Notice some of his facial expressions. He helped hang teeth and put out bones.
We have posted some really good pictues of Jorga training this past weekend. If you would like to see them, visit my page. They have been publically post. Randy Searls
Please read below. I&I will be participating in the raffle and if we win we will be donating this amazing animal to a department who cannot afford one or one that has lost a K9 in duty. Bullocks K9 made Jorga what she is and she is amazing. This is something great to get behind and I challenge all who can to participate! LET'S DO THIS!
We here at Bullocks k9 are going to be offering a raffle, for a drug detection dog. The dog will be completely trained, the dog will be offered with a handler school for one week to teach the handler how to work the dog. The dog will have all of our warranties and all medical histories.
We will offer this because we know there are alot of police departments today that just dont have the budget for a dog but could use one. We will offer tickets at 50 dollars for 2 or 5 for 100. The drawing will take place on June 1st 2016, The winning drawing will be announced that day. The winning participant will be annouinced here.
Ok here are the details about the dog, A male German Shepherd Named REX. 3.5 year old super detector dog. Very social with children, other dogs and people. He is trained for passive response on 5 main odors. We will be sending video of the dog working in different areas, ( cars. packages, trucks, buildings) Good luck to everyone. Here is his picture
Inspired by Jerry as he posted his awesome K9 protecting his toy while he slept. Jorga never sleeps without her toys. Also, today she is 3!

K9 Jorga conducting a forensic search in a warehouse. It took her about 3 minutes to find the gauze pad with 3 drops of blood on it.
K9 Jorga has been helping protect a mistreated wife and her boys this week. Her presence has brought tremendous relief, hope joy, love. and security. Words cannot describe her performance and all she has done for this family. They say she is an amazing testiment to K9's around in world with her ability to love and play one minute and be completely on point the next.
Thank you so much to everyone who has played a part in making her what she is today. I am forever grateful!!
Jorga showing independent response and agression to odor. I placed odor under this house and had her just walk down the driveway to see if she would notice. She is not wearing her cadaver odor collar and was not given any commands to find. As soon as she passed it she turned back and began her indication. I was so impressed I forgot to take a picture of the full alert. lol She is a good dog and works hard.
Jorga doing her thing!!
