If you know a member not receiving Chapter e-mails, please forward this e-mail to them and have them send their e-mail to this address so we can add them to our list.

On this day, September 11, 2001, the lives of many changed and a nation came together. Today and every day, we should reflect on our first responders and fellow Americans who have answered the call and are no longer with us. Let us not forget, there are many still affected by this catastrophe. We are a resilient nation, and with unity, we can overcome any adversity.

We said we will never forget!

Hi, my name is Patti. I am a veteran and I do have disabilities, but do not participate in the VA benefits prog. However, I have something else. Very important. A VSO has threatened to pull "a HINK" on me for vindictive and intimidation purposes. Totally unrelated to any legit reason. I was never his client, never gave him permission, like in the past or anything. He's just an unstable person. Mistook me (politically) for someone I am not. He's totally wrong about me. He's done this to others recently and caused them trouble. Now he brought this to my door. Need guidance to properly report and ensure he loses the ability to do this anymore. Please contact via Messenger. If you need my phone number, I'll put it there. Thanks for your time.
Foundation would like to make a charitable donation but cannot locate your 501(c) 3 documents for North Carolina. Please refer me to someone that can assist with this as soon as possible. And thank you for your work for our veterans.
I have a fishing rod with a chest strap that I used after a shoulder surgery (great to use for a fisherman/woman with 1 arm) that I would like to donate if anyone is in need. Chest harness, rod and reel included...works great!
Thank you to anyone that has served on this page. You are an inspiration to many. I recently watched a film that inspired me like the veterans do on this page. The film is called "Above the Best" and it is highlights the loyalty of a unit when in battle. Through raw video footage and true reporting these soldiers were able to give a true and honest story about war without it being hollywoodized. Because of the original footage and the way it shows the brotherhood soldiers experience, I recommend watching it. It is on all VOD platforms!
Sad news from the western end of our state: Mike Stubbs reports, "I am sad to report that Jim Prosser has passed away Thursday, many of you have met and know Jim Prosser, Jim was the Supervisor of the Mecklenburg VSO’s and then took a position as Asst. Secretary of Veterans Affairs for North Carolina, Jim attended several of our meetings, details to follow later." Mike Stubbs Commander MOPH Combat Wounded Veterans Chapter 634

How can I go about getting a partially disable license plate?
Good morning, I am a DAV, from the Viet Nam war. Very proud to have served, I am 74 stil alive. The VA has been very helpfull all this years.
I am a lifetime member of chapter 11. Never been to a meeting because I have classes I teach on the nights you have meetings. I am 50% rated, service connected. Can someone there tell me about all the benefits I am eligible for? I go to the CBOC for hearing aid and glasses. I have been paying for my meds out of my pocket and I understand I am eligible for medications through the VA. Is this correct?
Trump attacks Disabled Veterans to remove benefits. SAY NO.
We were cleaning out a trophy room at Oakcliff/Adamson High School in Oak Cliff, TX and ran across a plaque presented to Oakcliff girls in 1931. We were wondering if you had record of such plaque and what it might had been awarded for?
