I am extremely blessed and incredibly grateful to have received an endorsement from the Lower Cape Fear Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #58.

Over the past 16 years serving as your Clerk of Superior Court for New Hanover County, and the past 33 years working in the same Clerk’s Office, I have had the honor and privilege of working alongside the wonderful men and women who serve and protect our county. I am proud of all we have accomplished together to serve our wonderful community.

To receive the support and confidence from the Fraternal Order of Police is truly meaningful, and I will continue to serve our community with the same integrity, fairness, commitment, and accessibility. I’m so thankful and honored to have served as the clerk of court for the past 16 years and the many different roles this position has given me. This job allows me to work with dedicated clerks across the state to collaborate and share ideas. These committees are one of the wonderful ways I am able to work along side other clerks and accomplish such important tasks!

I get asked all the time what the Clerk of Court does. I love talking about my job when asked!!! One interesting part of my job is serving on Committees and working hand in hand with ALL Elected Clerks and other Judicial Partners across the state to better our Courts. I have had the privilege of serving on committees since my first year in office. These Committees are important in improving our Court system so that we can better serve the citizens of NC.

One of my favorite things to do as the Clerk of Superior Court is speak with people in our community!! I have been honored to be a part of the Citizens Academy done by our own Sheriff McMahon for the past 16 years!!

I am truly thankful to Sue Coupland, our wonderful host, along with Susan Kreamer , the organizer of this amazing event in Landfall this past Sunday. It was an exceptional gathering filled with encouragement and so much support! I am incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and the continuous support provided.

The Azalea Festival Luncheon and Garden Party has always been absolutely beautiful and this year was no exception. Every detail was beautifully done, and it was such a delight to be part of these special traditions again.

I am especially thankful to have the opportunity to serve as a patron of the Azalea Festival and to support an event that means so much to our community here in Wilmington.

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of how fortunate we are to live in such a vibrant and beautiful city. The Azalea Festival truly unites our fantastic community together by celebrating shared traditions, enjoying festivities, and everything we love about calling Wilmington our home!

I am so grateful to call this home and truly appreciative of the time spent with family and so many familiar faces. Also a special thank you, to all who dedicate their time to making our festival so memorable each and every year!🌺🌸

So proud to be part of the NC Judicial System for the last 33 years. Including the last 16 years as the Elected Clerk of Superior Court. It’s an Honor to continue to serve the residents of New Hanover County.

On this date in 1777, the newly formed N.C. General Assembly met in New Bern and passed legislation creating the state court system. The Court Law established Superior Courts, county courts, replaced the royal colonial court system, and established the foundation that evolved into our current system. Happy Birthday, N.C. Judicial System!

It is my honor to announce my candidacy for re-election as Clerk of Superior Court in November 2026. Over the years, it has been a true privilege to serve each and every resident of New Hanover County, and I am deeply grateful for all the support shown throughout the years. I remain dedicated to faithfully executing the duties of the oath I have upheld since 2010, and I will continue to serve with respect, integrity, and devotion to all citizens of New Hanover County.

I have had the honor of serving the citizens of New Hanover County since 2010 as your elected Clerk of Superior Court, with a total of 33 years experience in the Clerk's Office.
