Transitioning Together

Transitioning Together Our goal is to support them in building meaningful connections and a strong support system that creates future opportunities for themselves and their families.

TT fosters community engagement by hosting monthly activities bringing together adults with special needs and the broader community to build connections, share new experiences, and create a supportive, inclusive network for all involved. We are dedicated to fostering inclusion for the special needs community by helping individuals develop social skills that empower them to not only integrate into society but to thrive.

What a GREAT weekend for Transitioning Together! 🤠💙

We kicked things off Friday at National Night Out, where we had the opportunity to share more about Transitioning Together, connect with our community, and meet so many wonderful people. Thank you Theresa Mathis, City of Wilson, NC - Government and Wilson Human Relations

Then Saturday night… we headed to the rodeo! 🐎

And what a turnout — THREE bleachers full of our TT family! 💙🙌

Even with the heat, everyone came ready for a good time! We had some first-time rodeo guests and some seasoned rodeo veterans, and by the end of the night, we were all having a rootin’-tootin’ good time! 🤠. Thank you Gracie at Cavvietta Quarter Horse & Cattle Co.

We are incredibly grateful to the many individuals, businesses, sponsors, families, volunteers, and community supporters who helped make this event possible. Warren Smith with L and L of Raleigh, Inc. April & Shelley from Bailey's Respite Care, Inc. Wesley Trump WhirliDogs, Dr Garrett Hansen at Joyner Chiropractic Pain and Wellness Center, Karen & family from Teeing Up with Zack, Lisa from First In Families of North Carolina, Jackson and family with The Jackson Robol Show, Heather Oliver and Family with Wilson Board of REALTORS. Whether you sponsored tickets, came out to support us, helped behind the scenes, or simply helped spread the word — THANK YOU.

Seeing so many adults with special needs, families, friends, and supporters gathered together enjoying a community event is exactly what Transitioning Together is all about.

Your presence in our community matters! 💙

What a weekend — and what an amazing TT community we are building together!

Hope to see you at our next event!
