Inflation is causing mortgage interest rates to rise. Interest rates are a direct reflection of economic health.

The Federal Reserve raised the federal funds rate by 0.25%. Mortgage interest rates probably will go up, and rates on home equity lines of credit certainly will.

Even if you have homeowners insurance, if you own another property with tenants you will want to have landlord insurance.
