World Art Drop Day is just one month away! 🎨

On September 1, the City of Windcrest Parks & Recreation will celebrate World Art Drop Day by hiding artwork throughout the city for the community to discover and keep.

Your creation doesn't have to be a painting. It could be a sculpture, pottery, photography, jewelry, woodworking, crochet, a handmade craft, or anything else you enjoy creating. If it's art to you, we'd love to include it!

Need a canvas? Stop by Windcrest City Hall to pick one up while supplies last!

Once your artwork is complete, drop it off at Windcrest City Hall by August 28. Then, follow the City of Windcrest on social media as we share clues to the hidden art locations on September 1.

Let's fill our community with creativity and make this year's World Art Drop Day one to remember! ✨

Guest Jr., was officially named the recipient of the prestigious 2026 National Continued Service Award in the Public Servant category by We the Veterans and Military Families. This annual award recognizes extraordinary military veterans and family members who continue to strengthen American democracy and serve their communities long after their formal military service concludes.
