Mainers should not have to fear unnecessary violence from law enforcement. Maine needs to stand up for its people, and demand accountability when federal agents abuse their power, to ensure that they aren't complicit in violating Mainers' rights.

It's at least the 11th fatal shooting involving an ICE or Border Patrol agent since President Donald Trump took office last year.

Juneteenth, or “Freedom Day,” is an opportunity for us to reflect on our nation’s long struggle with racial inequality and honor those who have dedicated themselves to the pursuit of equal rights, both past and present.

We’re committed to continuing to fight for racial equity and striving to create a better Maine for future generations.

There's still time to vote in tonight's primary election! I didn't have an opponent tonight, but this is a great time to help decide our next governor, and our next senator for this fall!

Our democracy is only as strong as the people who participate in it, so make sure to turn out for it!

Happy pride month! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

I'm grateful to live in a state like Maine, which consistently ranks among the strongest in advocating for the rights of LGBTQ+ people in our community. I hope everyone has a joyful month, and takes time to recognize the ways that diversity makes our world a better place.

When elected, I promise to advocate for vulnerable and marginalized communities as best I can, and to listen to my neighbors to see how we can make sure progress keeps marching forward!

Good luck to these folks in Portland! Everyone deserves a fair workplace, and collective bargaining is a powerful tool to help workers get what they need.

Monday is Election Day! Workers at Holy Donut will be voting on forming their union on Monday afternoon. Stop by Holy Donut at 194 Park Ave. in Portland from 6:30am-2pm, enjoy a donut or coffee, and congratulate the workers on their election.

Disappointing votes from both of Windham's current reps today. LD 2226 will provide our school district with needed funds from the state, and has support from both sides of the aisle.

Without efforts like these, more of the money for schools comes out of your local property taxes, and the mill rate is high enough as is.

Funding our schools is a good thing. Give me your vote, and I'll make sure you're represented by someone who gets that.

Happy Passover!
