I had the honor and privilege to work along many of these officers when I worked at the jail part-time through some of my time at UWP, and let me tell you that Grant County has a great crew working within their jail! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!

This week, we proudly recognize the dedicated Correctional Deputies and staff of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office during National Correctional Officers Week. Their hard work, professionalism, and commitment are essential to our office and to the effective operation of the criminal justice system.

The work done inside our jail is not easy. The individuals who come through our doors often present significant challenges, and our correctional staff meet those challenges each day with patience, professionalism, and compassion. Their ability to maintain safety, security, and order while treating people with dignity reflects our core values and the best of public service.

Working in a corrections setting can be a stressful and, at times, thankless job, but it is important work that makes a real difference in Grant County. We are grateful for the dedication these men and women show every day in service to Grant County.

Please join me in thanking this outstanding group for all they do.

LANCASTER! Polls are currently open until 8 PM! I just voted, have you?

Don’t forget to vote today! It is one of our many rights we are lucky to have in this great country and the opportunity to use it should not be wasted!

There are local races and a statewide supreme court race going on! For Supreme Court, I highly encourage you to vote for Judge Maria Lazar! She will be a great, conservative, voice to Wisconsin’s Supreme Court!

Our city cemetery stands as a quiet place of remembrance, reflection, and respect a space where we honor the lives and sacrifices of those who came before us. At its heart, the flagpole serves as a powerful symbol of gratitude for our veterans and loved ones.
Today, that symbol needs your help. We are raising funds to replace the existing flagpole. A new 30-foot aluminum flagpole will ensure our flag continues to fly proudly in tribute to those who served.
In addition, we hope to expand this tribute by installing a second flagpole in a new section of the cemetery where veteran ceremonies are held. Together, these projects represent a total fundraising goal of $7,100.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help preserve this place of honor for generations to come. Join us in ensuring that our flag continues to stand tall as a lasting symbol of respect, service, and community pride.

Congratulations John and Congratulations Jamie!

Thank you for supporting our public works team!

💙 A Heartfelt Thank You! 💙

We would like to extend a huge thank you to Bryhan’s Autobody & Paint LLC and The Fuel House for generously supplying our Public Works staff with hot chocolate and cappuccinos while they spent several hours working on the water main break. Your kindness and support truly meant a lot during a long, cold repair. ☕❄️

We would also like to sincerely thank the residents and staff along Bemis Road for your patience and understanding while water service was interrupted for approximately 5 hours.

We are grateful for such a supportive community and local businesses that step up when it matters most!
