I had the honor and privilege to work along many of these officers when I worked at the jail part-time through some of my time at UWP, and let me tell you that Grant County has a great crew working within their jail! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication!
This week, we proudly recognize the dedicated Correctional Deputies and staff of the Grant County Sheriff’s Office during National Correctional Officers Week. Their hard work, professionalism, and commitment are essential to our office and to the effective operation of the criminal justice system.
The work done inside our jail is not easy. The individuals who come through our doors often present significant challenges, and our correctional staff meet those challenges each day with patience, professionalism, and compassion. Their ability to maintain safety, security, and order while treating people with dignity reflects our core values and the best of public service.
Working in a corrections setting can be a stressful and, at times, thankless job, but it is important work that makes a real difference in Grant County. We are grateful for the dedication these men and women show every day in service to Grant County.
Please join me in thanking this outstanding group for all they do.
