Citizens Bank is bankrolling the country’s two largest prison companies that are earning record profits operating dozens of ICE detention facilities. While most major banks have cut ties with CoreCivic and The GEO Group, Citizens Bank is deepening its financial support for these companies, which are already holding more than half of the 70,000 immigrants currently in ICE detention centers across the country.

📣 Let’s support the protestors at Delaney Hall 📣

We stand in solidarity with the strikers being held captive at Delaney Hall and the community members protesting outside to uplift their demands. And so, along with our regular collection of food pantry items, we are asking folks to donate the following tomorrow at Solidarity Sunday:
✅Sudecon wipes
✅Unscented baby wipes
✅Sailene in sq**rt bottles
✅4x4 gauze with a higher ply
✅Water
✅Snacks

The LOT is an amazing space that allows neighbors to build community, share music and art, and spend time together. These relationships are far reaching into our community and are often the fuel for new ideas, outreach, and fun. Many of us have watched our own friendships and our children’s friendships blossom because of this type of community building. We have the opportunity to continue to build on community and the arts, and that is something that benefits us all.

We encourage everyone to reach out directly to Mayor Kyle Miller, City Admin John Leech, and the City Council and/or attend the city council meeting May 27. We will see you there. 🩵💛

Our Mi Casa pantry table is here to support our community — and it works best when we all share with care. ❤️

Today, shortly after we stocked the table with 5 pork shoulders, 2 dozen eggs, and 2 gallons of milk, one individual took everything at once. We understand that times are hard, and we never want anyone to go without food. But this table is intended to help multiple families and neighbors throughout the day.

We kindly ask everyone to please take only what you need so others can also benefit from the pantry.

If you or your family are in need of additional meals, groceries, or extra support, please message us directly. We also have frozen meals available that can be delivered locally or arranged for pickup. We are always happy to help connect neighbors with resources and support.

Community is strongest when we look out for one another. 🫶
