It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of former Gloucester County Sheriff Chuck Gill.

Sheriff Gill dedicated years of his life to public service and to the safety and well-being of the residents of Gloucester County. His commitment to law enforcement and his community left a lasting impact on many who had the privilege of knowing and working with him.

Today, we remember his service, his leadership, and the legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, former colleagues, and all those mourning his loss.

May he rest in peace.

Please join me tonight for a Meet the Candidates Event for Gloucester County GOP Chair.

Elk Township GOP, Deptford GOP, and Glassboro GOP wanted to host an event where all three candidates were invited to share their plans for the GCGOP.

This event is open to all Republicans, but we urge all GC County Committee members to join, as your vote on June 9th at the Executive Committee Reorganization Meeting is important.

It is my understanding that each candidate will have time to speak about what their plans are going forward and then there will be a question & answer portion.

Today I officially submitted my letter of intent to run for Chairman of the Gloucester County Republican Organization, along with Barb Capelli for Vice Chair, Erik Anderson for Treasurer, and Kristen Dutch for Secretary.

The time for change is now.

Over the last two years, our party has lost ground, lost momentum, and lost the trust of many Republicans across Gloucester County. Leadership has failed us at every turn — and the results speak for themselves.

Republicans deserve transparency, accountability, organization, and leadership that fights for every town, every committee member, and every voter.

I have spent a lot of my life serving this county with integrity, strength, and dedication. I understand leadership is about bringing people together, rebuilding trust, and moving forward with a clear vision for the future of the GCGOP.

This is about restoring confidence in our organization and putting Gloucester County Republicans back on the path to success.

It’s time for transparency.
It’s time for leadership.

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that freedom is not free. We owe an immeasurable debt to those who gave everything for this nation and to the families who continue to carry their memory and legacy forward.

Today, we honor the women whose love, strength, and sacrifice shape our families and our communities. Mothers are often the quiet heroes—offering guidance, comfort, and unwavering support through every stage of life.

To all the moms who juggle countless responsibilities while putting their families first, thank you for everything you do. Your compassion, resilience, and devotion do not go unnoticed.

Today, we remember Officer Bobby Shisler — a true hero whose courage, sacrifice, and dedication to serving others will never be forgotten.

Officer Shisler gave everything in the line of duty, protecting his community with honor and selflessness. His legacy continues to live on through the lives he touched, the fellow officers who carry his memory, and the community that still stands behind his family and department.

Please continue to keep Officer Shisler’s loved ones, brothers and sisters in blue, and all first responders in your prayers today and always.

We’re lucky to call a place home that’s filled with beautiful parks, trails, and open spaces—from the miles of walking paths at Scotland Run Park to the preserved natural beauty of Tall Pines State Preserve.

Our county is built on protecting and enjoying the outdoors—whether it’s fishing, hiking, birdwatching, or just spending time with family in our parks.

Today is a reminder that protecting our environment starts right here at home. Pick up a piece of trash, plant something new, or take a walk and appreciate what makes Gloucester County so special.

Today is World Autism Awareness Day — a time to recognize, support, and stand alongside individuals and families in the autism community.

In New Jersey, one meaningful way we work to keep our neighbors safe is through Project Lifesaver, a program provided by the Sheriff’s Offices. This initiative helps quickly locate individuals with autism and other cognitive conditions who may wander, giving families an added layer of security and peace of mind when it matters most.

Awareness is important — but action is what truly makes a difference. By supporting programs like Project Lifesaver, educating ourselves, and showing compassion in our communities, we help create a safer and more inclusive world for everyone.
