MAZAL TOV! To all who participated in our Mitzvah Day events this past weekend. Hundreds of congregants from Temple Aliyah and Shomrei Torah Synagogue came together and took social action into their own hands, while petting some paws in the process😁. See you next year!

January 20th at 8:00PM | Temple Aliyah and Shomrei Torah join together with other religious leaders and prominent musical artists to bring you our annual interfaith Shabbat. Each year different community leaders have read a section of the "I Have a Dream" speech during our service. It was always a poignant moment to hear each community's perspective. It has been almost 60 years since that transforming speech was made. So much has transpired, but the question is, how much has changed? What does that speech mean today? What needs to be done to fulfill that dream? And what do our young people see for the future? And how do we infuse that dream with the positive energy of hope?

Sunday January 29th, Shomrei Torah Synagogue and Temple Aliyah come together for Mitzvah Day! The whole family can participate in mitzvot big and small from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm. Make bracelets for SAVE A CHILD'S HEART, give some pets to dogs in need with Pups Without Borders, assemble care packages for Bundles of Kindness, write greeting cards for our Community of Caring seniors, give blood at our American Red Cross blood drive AND MORE!
