Ok maybe you voted for our city, county, state and national officials and maybe you didn’t. Now you’re disgruntled over this, that or the other. So we vent on Facebook. Have you done anything to address your concerns constructively. Have you contacted the officials? I’ve found them to be very willing to help. Yes I know some of them act like the south end of a north bound mule. If this happens go to city council meetings, Commissioners Court meetings and address them in person. Get involved in local, state and national government. Find out what laws are in place about your concerns. We can not bring about change by doing nothing. Don’t accept that is the way we’ve always done it. The apathy of the people is why America is in the shape it’s in. Don’t accept the status quo. Determine to be the one that makes the difference.

Many years ago I was given a expensive gift. It was priceless and could never be duplicated. I loved it but many times took it for granted and didn’t take care of it. Put it in the back of the closet and nearly forgot about it. Every now and then I would take it out of the closet and think how precious it was. Over time it was forgotten about. The sacrifices made for me to receive this gift was forgotten. The price paid forgotten. The rarest of rare gifts left only memories in the back of my mind. Oh if I could only restore what was one of my most precious gifts. Let FREEDOM ring.

Ok. Been thinking and that can be dangerous. So RFK Jr gets ballot excess in all the states. Dems push Biden out and place someone in there that Democrats don’t like. Lot of Republicans don’t like Trump. Lot of people do like RFK. Wil there be a Kennedy in the WH again? Stranger things have happened.

My daughter and I were discussing last nights debate. The next debate is September 10th. The democrats convention is August 19th. I think the democrats will let Biden have the nomination in August and then replace him before the next debate. What are your thoughts?

Well have you voted? You still have time. If you don’t vote don’t bitch about anything when things don’t go your way. If you gripe on Facebook the first thing I will ask is Did you vote? The apathy in Tyler County is terrible but everyone wants to gripe but will not get off your behinds and vote. If you don’t vote you are the problem.

Well has the worm turned or is the bunch supposed to be helping Biden just idiots. I think the worm has turned and the Democrats just want to get this old codger with memory problems out of the way and put another choice of Obama’s in to run for president. This next week to a month is going to get hairy. Maybe the Democratic Party will just implode upon themselves. Well one can only hope.

I have been thinking all day about what to post for Veteran’s Day. Thank you for your service seems so inadequate for the sacrifices made by all veterans and their families. Until you have seen a family member leave for service you can’t realize family serves also. We revere government officials as though they were gods. Our veterans are often jeered and spat on. Many are not taken care of medically. Many are homeless. Their pay during service is nominal and benefits minimal afterwards unless they retire and then is inadequate. Illegals are given more benefits. We put on a good show with military funerals, National Cemeteries, Unknown Soldier Tomb when they die. We honor them one day a year. Isn’t it time we honor all veterans and their families every day, that we take care of them all the rest of their lives. It’s time to put meat to the words, “Thank you for your Service”.
