Woodward - IA Lions Club The Woodward Lions Club is a member ofLions Clubs International…worldwide dedication to volunteer and serve to our Communities ! 🩷come join us !

We meet every Thursday at 7:00..at The Woodward United Methodist Church. Woodward Lions Club was chartered in 1969. We meet the 2nd Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Woodward Social Center. Our service work includes supporting the work of Lions Clubs International in the areas of sight and hearing conservation and working with young people. Locally, we have purchased eyeglasses for childr

en from families who can't afford them. We sponsor college scholarships, help beautify the community, and take on other projects to make the world a better place. Lions is open to men and women age 18 or older. We would love to have you join us!

With an increase of vehicle and pedestrian school traffic in communities, it's important to keep safety at the top of mind. Please remember to:

◾️ Keep an eye out for children at bus stops and crosswalks.
◾️ Never pass a stopped school bus.
◾️ Obey speed limits in school zones and all traffic safety laws.
