Wednesday evening marked Tu BiShvat, a Jewish holiday celebrating the new year for fruit-bearing trees, when trees come out of their winter sleep and begin to bear fruit for the year. The culinary team at the Governor’s Residence has shared a behind-the-scenes look at the Tu BiShvat meal they have prepared, which includes a kale and halloumi salad, a barley and salmon bake with dried fruits, and a pomegranate chocolate ganache tart.
