**** ATTENTION VILLAGE RESIDENTS***

Flushing will resume today Oct. 24th starting on Rte 209 by Car Wash and continue down through the development. Dirt water and low pressure is to be expected.

Please take note that hydrant flushing has been re-scheduled and will start Monday, October 16th between 8:30-9:00am. Flushing will take place on Sullivan St. ONLY. Again, flushing will be done in sections and all side streets will follow. Expect low pressure and discolored water.

The Village of Wurtsboro will start hydrant flushing next week (October 1st) They will be flushed in small sections at a time and take several weeks to complete the system. If you encounter dirty water during this, please let it run for a couple minutes to clear up. Any questions, contact the office.

The Village just got word that O&R will be doing emergency repairs to wires on the State Route 209 and Sullivan Street corner. This will take place between midnight and approximately 2:00am. It will effect approximately 1100 customers and should resolve all power flicks and outages that we have been experiencing in the Village.

The leak has been fixed and the water is back on. If you live with the area of Wilsey Valley Road to the D&H Carwash along US Route 209, you may experience dirty water. Please let it run for a couple minutes to clear up. If you have any questions please call the Village Office.

***Emergency Notice to Village residents *** There is a water main break along Route 209 that we are currently working on. Water will be shut down to isolate the dig. Be advised that you may experience dirty water, low pressure or no pressure. We are working as safely and quickly as possible to fix the leak. Any questions, please contact the office. A notice will be put out when it is fixed.
