Returning millions of dollars in an election year isn’t some act of generosity, it’s timing. If this was truly about long-term fiscal responsibility, why wait until now? Why not consistently invest those funds back into the communities that actually need it?

Greene County has real needs, roads, infrastructure, public safety, and support for our municipalities that are doing more with less every single year. Instead of strengthening those areas, this decision prioritized optics over impact.

Leadership isn’t about holding money just to hand it back when it’s politically convenient. It’s about making smart, forward-thinking investments that improve the quality of life across the entire county, not just scoring points during campaign season.

Last night was incredible. Over 100 people showed up to support this campaign — and that doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because people care. It happens because people believe our community deserves strong leadership and a clear direction forward.

Seeing that room packed out, shaking hands, hearing conversations about the future… it fires me up. This momentum is real.

To every single person who came out, brought a friend, donated, volunteered, or simply encouraged us — thank you. You’re the reason this movement keeps growing.

Spent some time today filming videos for the campaign out around town. No scripts, no actors just talking about the real issues people bring up to me every day.

I’ve been knocking doors and having conversations, and those conversations deserve more than a postcard or slogan. They deserve straight answers about where I stand and what I plan to do.

Over the next couple weeks I’ll be sharing these so you can hear directly from me instead of through rumors, mailers, or someone else’s spin.

We’re stuffing door hangers, getting everything organized, and getting ready to roll the second this weather decides to cooperate. Think of it as the calm before the knock.

Because here’s the deal — real conversations with real people will always matter more than a bunch of signs in the ground. We want to hear what’s on your mind, what you think needs fixed, and what’s actually working around here.

As soon as it warms up a bit, we’ll be out walking neighborhoods, meeting folks, and listening. Greene County deserves leaders who show up and actually talk to people — not just during election week.
