A man stole two Apple MacBooks, valued at $3,598, from Best Buy, located at 499 Sunrise Service Road Suite 39, on March 2 at approximately 3:20 p.m.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Office of the District Attorney - Biological Environmental & Animal Safety Team (BEAST) are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the owner or individual who abused a dog found in Port Jefferson Station in May.

A 1- to 3-year-old male Yorkshire Terrier mix was found on Belle Terre Road on May 14 at approximately 11 a.m. The dog was emaciated with its mouth tightly rubber-banded shut when found. The dog is currently at Brookhaven Animal Shelter.

Wanted for Sleight of Hand Larcenies

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to locate a Shirley man who is wanted for two sleight of hand larcenies.

Louis Pagano, 41, is wanted for two quick change thefts that occurred earlier this year. On January 3, Pagano asked an employee at Urban Air, located at 683 Old Country Road in Dix Hills, for change of two $100 bills. He slipped some of the returned bills in his pocket, while distracting the employee with conversation, and then claimed he received the wrong change, resulting in an $80 loss to the business. On March 20, at Deli Pupuseria Salvadorena, located at 200 West Jericho Turnpike in Huntington Station, Pagano purchased a beer and when Pagano received the change, he distracted the employee while he quickly put $40 in his pocket and then claimed he was shorted. The employee believed they provided the incorrect change and gave him an additional $40.

A man stole approximately $180 worth of beer and shrimp from Stop & Shop, located at 2350 North Ocean Ave., at 2:56 p.m. on April 21 approximately 5 p.m. He fled in a black Volkswagen.

A woman was shopping at Home Goods, located at 6 Henry Street, Commack, at approximately 2 p.m. on March 3 when she was approached by an unknown woman who distracted the victim while another woman stole her wallet out of her handbag. A short time later, a third woman used a credit card from the wallet at Macy’s, located at 180 Walt Whitman Road, Huntington.
