I had the opportunity to sit down with ILiveHereWestchester for a candid conversation about my campaign for Westchester County Legislator in District 16, the issues facing Yonkers, and why I believe it’s time for new leadership.

We talked about affordability, homeownership, rising taxes, flooding, wasteful spending, and the need for county government to start working for the people who actually live here.

I’m running because Yonkers families deserve better than excuses. We deserve safer neighborhoods, stronger infrastructure, lower taxes, and real solutions that help working families stay here, buy homes here, and build a future here.

For too long, the same people have been in power while our taxes go up, accountability goes down, and working families are left asking why nothing ever changes.

But here’s the truth: things don’t change when we keep electing the same people who benefit from things staying exactly the way they are.

You, the voter, have the power to change your situation.

If you’re tired of higher taxes, wasteful spending, flooding, excuses, and leadership that puts politics over people, then it’s time to vote differently.

District 16 deserves a county legislator who will fight for taxpayers, protect our neighborhoods, and put Yonkers families first.

This November, we can choose change.

Your tax dollars should be helping working families build a future, not helping developers build luxury rentals that many Yonkers residents will never afford and never own.

Too often, government hands out tax breaks, subsidies, and special deals to developers. Then those same developers build luxury rental towers and rent them back to the very people whose tax dollars helped make the project possible.

Meanwhile, there are fewer and fewer paths to homeownership for everyday families in Yonkers and Westchester.

That is backwards.

We need housing policy that helps people buy homes, build equity, and stay in the communities they love. We need leadership that puts taxpayers and working families first.

Yonkers deserves better. Westchester deserves better.
