Children's Aid Society Southern Pennsylvania District/ Cornerstone Youth Home thanks Luzier Landscaping for volunteering their time and making our backyard look beautiful. Our little ones are enjoying the flowers and as you can see, we added the blue pin wheels for Child Abuse Prevention month. Thank you again Kyle for taking the time to give back to the community.

Children's Aid Society Southern Pennsylvania District/ Cornerstone Youth Home Would like to send out our sincerest thank you, to Leadership York and the amazing individuals that have taken of their time to update and organize our donation room here at Cornerstone Youth Home. As leaders in their community, they are giving back by becoming servant leaders and assisting by looking at the needs in the community. At Cornerstone Youth Home this donation room will give the parents and guardians a place to pick what they need, for example Clothing, hygiene products without having to sign up or ask for items. Please stay tuned for the finished room pictures that we will post in the following weeks.

Children's Aid Society Southern Pennsylvania District/ Cornerstone Youth Home are getting ready for Give Local York. There are 7 weeks until the big day. Give Local York is an event that helps non-profits raise money to continue the amazing and important work that we do for the community. Cornerstone Youth Home and The Crisis Nursery are 2 programs under Children's Aid Society Southern Pennsylvania District who help families in the community. The Crisis Nursery gives respite to children ages birth to 6 years of age when families are in need. Cornerstone Youth Home provides a safe long-term home to children ages 6 to 13 who are experiencing homelessness. Please consider giving to Children's Aid Society Southern Pennsylvania District on May 2nd and 3rd. We are so grateful to all of our donors who give to our program so that we can continue with our Vision that all Children are Safe and Feel Loved and our Mission of Empowering Children & Families. Please stay tuned as we continue to add more information about Give Local York and how you can donate. As always thank you all for following us, donating to us and supporting us. Children's Aid Society Southern Pennsylvania District/ Cornerstone Youth Home would like to thank the motorcycle group The Litas Lancaster PA and The Festive Board Catering who donated a meal last Sunday. They have been wonderful with donating a couple of times a month. The food that is donated on Sundays gives the family and children the opportunity to sit down with the team at Cornerstone and have a family style dinner, at this time we all have conversations, the children and families all have time to spend in a calm and safe environment. This helps the kids have a smoother transition and feel safe and loved when their parents leave, it's not goodbye but see you soon.

By reading books, children can all go on amazing adventures, meet characters that are like them, have hope that everything will work out, learn to be kind, funny and be their amazing, unique self.
