Our Lunch Bunch for August is a Picnic in the Park at YMCA Armco Park! Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch from Bill's Real Pit BBQ, featuring burgers, brats, potato salad, baked beans, and water for $20 per person.
Sign up by August 17 to reserve your spot. We’ll have games and plenty of fun—it's always a great time!
Be sure to bring your chair, hat, and sunglasses for a day of food, friends, and sunshine.
Join us on Tuesday, August 25 at 11 AM. We hope to see you there!

👏 Thank You to Our Community Partners
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Muskingum County Prosecutor's Office, the Muskingum County Sheriff's Office, and the Zanesville Police Department for providing free Fraud Education at the Center on Tuesday. The presentation was very informative and extremely helpful to our Friends of the Center and community members who attended.
Unfortunately, our Friends are targeted for scams and fraud on a daily basis, so we truly appreciate the presenters taking time out of their busy schedules to share such valuable information with us.
We hope to offer more educational opportunities in the future. Please continue to watch our page, website, and the Community Connection for updates.

If you’d like to be part of a meaningful mission, join the Turban Project at the Center. This wonderful program brings volunteers together to make turbans, beanies, and courage caps that are donated to local radiation and oncology centers. All sewing machines, fabric, and thread are provided.
Whether you’d like to help cut patterns or sew, we invite you to join us.
The Turban Project will meet from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM on Thursday, August 13 & 27.
We hope to see you there!

Our Dresden location at the Bonnie Longaberger Senior Center is closed today due to a water outage. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you’d like to learn new recipes and pick up cooking tips to help keep kitchen mess to a minimum, join our Seasoned Skillets class with Alexus from the OSU Extension Office!
The class meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at noon here at the Center.
To reserve your spot, call 740-454-0144. We’d love to cook with you!
