In 1936 Dowding Stuart Cozier, with the support of Mr. Clarke, the then Headmaster of the St. Vincent Boys Grammar School, where Mr. Cozier himself was an Assistant Master, formed the Boys Grammar School Cadet Corps. There were fourteen boys on roll at the start of the Corps. The Corps attended its first Ceremonial Parade on November 11, 1937 at the Armistice Day Parade. Accordingly, the Cadet Force celebrates its anniversary on Remembrance Day each year.

Remembering the Moment | La Soufrière 2021
When our nation faced one of its greatest trials, the officers, ranks, and cadets of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Cadet Force stood ready to serve.

In the face of uncertainty and danger, they answered the call with courage, discipline, and patriotism supporting national response efforts during the La Soufrière eruption of 2021.

We remember their service. We honour their sacrifice. We remain proud of their commitment to country.

In recognition of the members of the SVGCF who served during the 2021 La Soufriere Volcanic Eruption Operation.
