GYVE coordinator, Dr. Nigel Scott, handing over equipment to Melford Pompey of Garifuna Radio. This GYVE Project will help provide training for young persons in the community so that Garifuna Radio can get back up and running.

The Clearnez Crew in Richmond Hill are hard at work on their GYVE project to clean up the bypass road to make it safer for the entire community.

The Dickson Community Youth are off and running with their GYVE Project to work with schools in their area in Agriculture. This project touches on food security and preparing the next generation to feed themselves. Zero Hunger Trust Fund, Helen's Daughters and the School's Feeding Programme are collaborators.

As the Greater Youth Volunteerism and Engagement (GYVE) Programme continues its equipment rollout, several groups received their equipment to begin their work during the past week.
On October 3rd, 2025, the A-Team’s adult facilitator Ms. Frauvaun Campbelle of New Prospect (Simon), collected the equipment on behalf of the group along with one of the group members.
On October 6th, 2025, it was the turn of the Amazing Grace SDA Church of Arnos Vale as Elder Benedict Charles collected their equipment for clearing the Arnos Vale public drain near the church.
On October 9th, 2025, it was the turn of the Eco-Clean group of Sharpes Village, Chateaubelair. Their equipment was delivered to them by the GYVE team in Chateaubelair.
Armed with their equipment, the groups have plans to commence work as early as this weekend (October 11th and 12th) to help transform their communities.
